BIO.

Artur Weber is an Estonian-Australian interdisciplinary artist based in Riyadh. Defying genre definitions, he explores every medium, from traditional and digital to interactive interventions. Pushing back against execution boundaries as he explores more contemporary and compelling visual narratives.

With a background in advertising and graphic design, his career has spanned the collaborative and the personal. Since he relocated to Riyadh in 2019, his work has been exhibited in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD, 2020), Misk Art Institute (2021), and Noor Riyadh (2022). While working closely with the artist Muhannad Shono, Weber contributed to multiple projects from GAM Torino (2019), Desert X (2020), Diriyah Biennale (2021), Noor Riyadh (2021+22), Lyon, Venice (2022) and Jeddah’s Islamic Biennale (2023).

The work he presently explores is born within a digital womb yet seeks to leave a tangible imprint on those he and his work touches.
